1) Non-Destructive Food Temperature Measurement System

The Loma Celsius has set a new world-wide standard for cost savings and temperature measurement in the food industry. The non-destructive nature of the test means zero product or packaging wastage, the foolproof nature of temperature measurement enables a rapid evaluation of the target average product temperature. Technology

Utilising advanced microwave thermometry technology; Celsius has the ability to accurately read the entire product temperature without destroying the product or packaging. It operates on the principle that there is correlation between the amount of microwave energy emitted by a foodstuff and its overall temperature. The unit itself is passive; it does not emit microwave energy and consumes less than 200W. Celsius not only gives the most accurate results available but is also the first system to provide measurements of all areas within a product, meaning that manufactures can get a true idea of their product temperature and thus manage their freezers, chillers and ovens more effectively. For chilled and frozen products a reading too high and the product may be unsafe, too low and energy is being wasted. With hot products the converse is true.
