New AutoFeeder for the FOX50 Series is available. It enables you to load up to 24 1/2" (12.7 mm) thick samples that are 2" (50.8 mm) in diameter. These samples can then be tested over the course of a night or a weekend. The user places the samples in the Automatic Feeder and assigns each sample its individual ID on the computer. The results are automatically saved on the computer hard drive for future review. This enables voluminous data to be acquired in a short time for material characterization. View PDF
FOX50 is a microprocessor-based instrument for testing in accordance with ASTM C 518 and ISO 8301. It is designed for testing the thermal conductivity of materials in the conductivity range of 0.1W/mK to 10W/mK. The instrument is designed to test polymers, composite materials, low conductivity ceramics, glasses, rubber etc..

Four inches insulation around test chamber A series of instruments with 30" (762mm) square plates for samples of unlimited length from 0 to 12" (305mm) thick, tailored to customer' requirements.
A series of instruments with 41" x 30" (1041mm x 762mm) plates. The test chamber has front and back doors which allow specimens that are 1050 mm wide to be tested. It was designed specifically for vacuum panels of large size.
Uses the absolute method. A heat flow meter is used to control temperature of the bottom surface plate to assure that all power generated in the center section of the main heater will be driven through the measuring area of the sample. Minimum sample size is 65 mm diameter. The actual measuring area is 37.5 mm. The instrument accepts samples up to 150 mm square and up to 25 mm thick. Both instrument plates utilize solid state heating/cooling and operate between 0°C and 80°C (32°F and 176°F). (Temperatures of 145°C are available in advanced version.)
